NORTHSHIRE WELLNESS ~ BLAKE MORAN BCTMB

About Me

I’m a graduate of the Utah College of Massage Therapy 2001/2002, Board Certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, an Advanced JFB Myofascial therapist, Vermont licensed, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I have been in private practice for more than two decades.

My integrative approach allows me to meet each client where they are, blending therapeutic massage, myofascial release, deeper soft tissue work, and the gentle, relaxing techniques of Craniosacral Therapy to support what the body needs in that moment. The goal is to release tension, regulate the central nervous system, and restore balance and ease to the body and mind.

Much of my advanced training has been in Myofascial Release, including direct study with John F. Barnes, founder of MFR, in his Pennsylvania clinic, completing and repeating most of the courses offered through his program. I continue to expand my understanding and treatment of the fascial system through Anatomy Trains and the work of Thomas Myers, with additional study in Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy yoga, weight training, reading, dog walks/hikes, skiing, snowshoeing, cooking, and gardening. Home is Manchester Center, where I live with my husband, our son, and two goofy dogs.
